I made this mistake once - just in a social game - chatting to others, making casual moves as if it was all so easy for me. Thinking about it later I realized how rude and offensive I'd been and how I'd felt when others had done this to me. I made a promise from then on to always play with respect for my opponent and respect for the game - whoever it was. Interesting and honest of you to highlight the “attitude” towards your opponent.
