Another sample from “Perfect Your Chess”. GM Volokitin and IM Grabinsky are commenting game moves as the best continuation, but I think there is even prettier tactical motif.

The first thing that comes to mind is exploiting the near mate Ne7+. Since it’s guarded by the knight on c6, I look at 1. Bxc5 dxc5 2. Bd7. And now the threat is just Bxc6 and Ne7. I think black has to give up material to save the king.
(a) 2. … Qxd7? 3. Ne7+ Nxe7 4. Qxd7
(b) 2. … Bxf6 3. Nxf6+
(c) 2. … Re8 3. Bxc6 bxc6 4. Ne7+ Rxe7 5. fxe7
Line (c) is a bit unsatisfying, after Qxe7 black has 2 pawns for the exchange and white’s weak pawns on b2, b3, and e4 and exposed king make for a lot of targets.
The move 1. e5 also looks very attractive. The threat of exd6 looks quite strong supporting Ne7+ and threating Bxc5. Black can’t take the pawn on e5 (dxe5? Bxc5, or Nxe5 Ne7+). If 1. e5 Ne4 then 2. Bb6 Qe8 3. Bc7 bringing another attacker to d6.

I was very pleased with visual appearance of 1. Bxc5 dxc5 2. Bd7! In your line (c) 5. Qxd8 Rxd8 6. fxe7 Re8 7. Rb1 is better ending for White, but not without technical difficulties. No need to insist on Bxc6 and Ne7 when 3. Be8 Qxe8 4. Qf3 (Qd3, Qc2) looks like decisive advantage.

as I missed Bd7, i was thinking of simply Qc2 as black has no usefull moves and white can extend pressure…But Bd7 is streigth win…

after 1. Bxc5 dxc5 2. Bd7 h6 black is worse but not nearly as bad as the 1. e5 lines
